Because no detailed description shows the particulars of a uniform as well as a picture does, several members of the Tenth have been photographed to demonstrate, not only what gear is appropriate, but how it is usually worn. The pictures are meant to clarify the uniform descriptions elsewhere on the website, (particularly on the Uniform Requirements Page). We hope this gives you a clearer idea of how the soldiers dressed and what equipment they carried, which will help you understand better how they lived.
